It is Spring!  Daffodils and crocus have passed and we welcome each new revelation of what nature has to show us.  We are moving toward summer holidays and easier living than ourIndianawinters.  I really appreciate your phone calls and emails letting me know what you think as you read my newsletter.  I am always glad to hear from you.  It ‘makes’ my day to find an old friend, familiar face or voice greeting me!

Real Estate and the market remain in the news and a continued concern for our economy.  Real Estate, whether new home sales or sales/inventory in general, remains an indicator for economic growth, stagnation or recession.  Recently, I heard that our recovery is projected as 3-5 years.  While that may be true for reaching a particular growth level of 2004 or 2006, we can see that home come on the market and sell every day.  The spring market has brought more homes to sell and the First Time Buyer Tax Incentive has seen homes selling in 1-10 days.  But the clock on this major federal incentive has just about “struck midnight”.  We will have to wait to see how this impacts our local market as we move forward.  Marketing homes, preparing them for sale, working with the sellers and the buyers, lenders and getting pre-approvals—all make for a busy day of being a realtor.  I am happy in my work and look forward to working with you.

We haven’t had many April showers but I am sure they are on the way!  Enjoy the spring weather, more daylight and being outside.  I love hearing from you!
